SOFTWARE UPGRADE
At MMP we utilise advanced tools to aid us in the design and specification of our Propellers and Propulsion Systems. Our software collection includes a variety of in-house proprietary programmes which have been developed over many years. These are complemented by tools developed in conjunction with the MIT // University of Texas Propeller Consortium. Propeller sizing, efficiency, thrust and bollard predictions are all part of the design analysis process from the first stage of vessel design right through to vessel launch and sea trials.
Our library of tools was recently upgraded to include NAVCAD Hydrodynamic Hull Resistance software which enables us to accurately fine tune predicted vessel performance.
