Nakashima was established almost 100 years ago – the business was built on a fundamental principle of engineering excellence and expertise.
Today we continue to focus on these values and supported by outstanding design techniques and a diverse product range, we offer a propeller and propulsion service that is globally unrivalled.
History
A WEALTH OF KNOWLEDGE –
Nakashima is based in Devon, England with a primary focus of supporting its customer base in the UK, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Established in 2003 as a Sales and Marketing Group the Company has grown from those very humble beginnings into what is now a 3,000sq/mtr site housing full manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, design and administration facilities. Today we can boast of World Class Manufacturing facilities that include CNC lathes and milling machines for quality and accuracy and MRI Equipment that scans every propeller.

From 3mtr Diameter to 9” Diameter – Bronze, Aluminium and Stainless Steel – we have a comprehensive range of propellers for all applications – Recreational, Professional, Superyacht, Military and Coastal Defence.
Our Propulsion Systems include Propeller Shafts in various grades of Steel, Water and Oil lubricated Sterntube assemblies, Struts, Rudders, Couplings and a wide range of accessories such as Shaft Seals, Rope Cutters, Propeller Pullers and Greaser Kits to name just a few.
In addition Nakashima are the original manufacturer of Aqualube Water Lubricated Cutless Bearings and house Europe’s largest stock of Metallic and Non-Metallic shelled bearings.
LOGISTICS
EFFICIENT DISTRIBUTION SOLUTIONS –
With more than 20,000 inventory parts held on the shelf we can offer high fill rates for standard items. Our team of Logistics experts manage all aspects of transportation, delivery, storage, packaging, cargo handling, distribution and information processing and we react quickly to support those urgent customer requirements.
Shipments are made daily to Domestic, European and Worldwide destinations partnering with Globally recognised and regionally efficient carriers.
